October
This project is a small collection of pieces I made over the course of a month. The work consists of a variety of wheel-thrown and slab-built forms. October was an exercise in creating a collection of pieces that would visually fit with each other, without any use of repetition. While the forms and finishes are not exact matches, the pieces carry a similar feeling that allows them to make sense when displayed together. October exists as an exploration of cohesion and as a means of connecting with a material I interact with on a daily basis in a new way.
